Where has this been my whole life? I WAS using small mason jars in the fridge, now I store my herbs and green onions in this. So much more easier to change out the water than a mason jar. The door will pop open from time to time, just don't overfill with a large bunch of cilantro or whatever, get a smaller size or use two of the containers..

These are terrific! I'm always tossing out fresh parsley, cilantro and asparagus before I get around to using it all, but these and other herbs last for weeks in these container. Cilantro is usually one of the fastest to go slimy, but I just threw out a bunch that had been stored in this for at least three weeks. Just rremember to replace the water every few days.

I love it, it actually works although after 3 weeks some of the leaves started to turn but it saids on the box it lasts for 3 weeks so. I love that I can cook my food with fresh herbs every day just by cutting a few leaves of Cilantro and all my other herbs I use. I just wish it was wider to fit all of my Cilantro. I ordered these as a gift as I was given one several years ago, and I love mine so much I keep green onions in it and store in fridge and they keep growing, I do change the water in it once a week and always have fresh green onions as many of you might know if you just bring them home in the bag you put them in from the store they only last a few days,

I was very surprised with how long this keeps herbs fresh, my cilantro, dill and even spinach leaves have lasted almost two weeks and they still look fresh! It also organizes in my fridge so nice, and they are larger then I thought, so they fit some pretty large bunches. Just put some water at the bottom and good to go.
